The best way I know how to set intentions:
- Ponder on what you’d like to experience
- Find the feeling you’re trying to feel through having that experience.
- Generate that feeling within you; you are already complete
- Make this your intention.
- And forget about it.
Don’t stress over it coming true. Bein mad, or sad if it doesn’t happen right away does not help the intention to come into light. Those emotions only produce more of themselves.
Whatever you’re after probably isn’t involving stress, anger, or sadness.
So do we initiate those feelings when setting intentions?
A part of intention setting is setting our emotions where we’d like them to be.
Once the intention is set, it’s already in motion.
You can’t control the outcome, no matter how much you think about it. Control isn’t freedom. Live in the world of possibility, of knowing yourself.
