How to be Present

More than anything, I have found that meditation is the best in bringing me to the present moment. Meditation has been proven to decrease physical pain and anxiety. But, what exactly is meditation? It’s a technique used to attain a state of consciousness that’s different from the waking state.

Meditation is focused attention on something. Many people use the breath as their “anchor” for meditation. The joy that comes from meditation is everlasting in our lives. For When you’re Hurting

Just remember when you feel unsafe, all the safe things you desire are protected within your heart. All this hurt is coming from outside of you. Pain is an experience, it isn’t you. What you’re looking for is in your own heart.

Your heart connects you to the skies and the ground. Your heart links your inside to the outside. Your heart is the bridge between the physical and the spiritual. What lives in your heart shall come to you in time. Until it does come— your safe place is within your own heart.

What is hope?

Hope is something we all have inside of us. It’s that glimmer of light inside you, the very inspiration to carry us through our darkest and lightest hours. Hope has carried me through my journey, no matter where we find ourselves, we can find hope there too. Hope is what I follow to find my way. I wish to share what I’ve learned so that you, the reader, can find your own way too.

What is healing?

For me, healing is growth. Healing is learning. Healing mind, body, and spirit is available right now, in this moment. The more I learn, the more I can’t keep it inside. Healing is meant to be shared. And I’ll share it. Right here is a space for healing, learning, and growing, created just for you.
